Ron Paul of the Day:Behind the Scenes Fox Censorship of Ron Paul caught on Video
Today’s Ron Paul of the day is a great video I stumbled upon from a Ron Paul support site. The on site director of this shoot, Tim Skubick, at the Mackinac Republican Conference is caught blatantly, and in no uncertain terms, telling his camera director not to film any of the Ron Paul supporters.
Video Description on YouTube:
Tim Skubick works for Fox 2 in Detroit and has a show on WKAR PBS called “Off the Record” and part-time for WILX. EclippTV shows him at Mackinac representing Fox. 20% of the audience were Ron Paul supporters and Ron Paul was the keynote speaker that morning.
The video poster also had a link to the Fox video that was actually aired of the event, without any visible Ron Paul supporters, but of course that video has been taken off of their website now.

In spite of the efforts of Faux (Fox) News to manipulate the voters of this country, the truth will always come out. One of the things that attracted me to the candidacy of Ron Paul is the fact that he is so honest. This is a trait totally lacking in the majority of other candidates and, obviously, in Faux News.
Fortunately, I still have the opportunity to vote for Ron Paul and I’m not obligated to watch Faux News.

Skubik is a big time lib, well known here in Michigan.
Nice try.
He probably just wanted a background shot that didn’t have a ton of signs. But, what would a Ron Paul supporter be without his conspiracy theories?

Most of the news media make it a point to NOT mention Ron Paul’s name. If I hadn’t been watching the tv intently Saturday night I would have missed seeing his name. His name was listed with all the other South Carolina Primary totals But when the reporter talked about the totals they skipped his percentage total and went down to the bottom and mentioned Rudy’s total. I have noticed that has happened more than once. It seems that there is a media blackout against Ron Paul. What are ” they” afraid of? The truth?

I wish I could understand these tactics. This is the kind of thing that makes you wonder if there is any truth to the crazy conspiracy theory freaks out there. I mean seriously, why else would they do these things unless someone somewhere was manipulating and pulling strings for a controlled result. Makes me wonder if election results can truly be trusted.

Just who is controlling whom? Is it your opinion that the citizens of South Carolina don’t have the ability to learn about the candidates through any other source than TV news?

FOX news basically is pulling for their proxy, Rudy G. and will do whatever to swing the election his way. One thing they can’t change about Rudy will lose him the general election if he makes it that far.

Not a Paul supporter myself, and my first thought was “oh the director needed some other kind of shots and didn’t want to waste time and tape recording stuff he couldn’t use.” But his language and attitude lead me to believe otherwise. Looks like a puff piece and they didn’t want to show anything relating to Ron Paul.
Faux News indeed.
