Read Between the Lies

A Concerned Citizens Rebuttal to the New World Order

Today’s YouTube of the day was featured on Countdown with Keith Olberman, and as much as I hate to publish things that were featured in any form of the mainstream media, this was just too juicy to pass up. During a routine campaign stop, Mitt Romney starts on one of his rants about how “disconnected” he is from Washington and that he doesn’t have any lobbyists working for his campaign. (Although he of course has dozens, and the one referenced just happens to work for the biggest Lobbying firm in the country) Amazingly an AP Reporter, Glen Johnson, calls him out on this blatant lie, and doesn’t back down. An AP reporter with a backbone, Who Knew!

There’s no question about it but, why hasn’t all of his other pandering and lies been reported??

( Unfortunately, if that fat reporter sitting on his butt had rightly kept his mouth shut Willard would have buried himself much deeper. Typical AP reporter, as stupid and liberal as…well, Willard Romney.)

Of course your right, none of his other lies have been widely reported, or even reported at all, by the main stream media. Nor have any of the other candidates lies, cheating, stealing, fear-mongering, etc etc. Just goes to show, AGAIN, how utterly worthless, bough and paid for, the mainstream media really is. I could devote an entire blog to the lies spread on the campaign trail everyday, as I’m sure someone actually does, and I applaud them for that.

As for your slight attack on the reporter, while I agree Romney certainly would have dug himself deeper if allowed to continue, I wouldn’t be too hasty to blame the reporter. At least he had the stones to stand up to the candidate and call him out in front of a camera. There are very very very very few reporters who would do that. And so I congratulate Glen Johnson for that.

First, Romney clearly weas not lieing- as he explained exactly what he meant- no lobbyists are involved in his policy makeing meetings. The gentleman mentioned by the AP reporter does not work for Romneys campaign, he is a volunteer.

Second, could you please name one time in this campaign that Romney has lied???

He has been accused of lying on several occassions, but has been vindicated on each one that I know about.

Of course Romney can say he “doesn’t work for my campaign” because he doesn’t, he gets paid by the Lobbying group. Thats the definition of a lobbyist, he gets paid by the group to work for Romney and use his position and they funds they donate to get things done for the group he represents.

So, that being said, Romney lied right there on that video, outright. How else can you describe it.
Romney: “No lobbyist’s work for my campaign”
The man in question, gets paid by an outside campany to work for Romney and use their money to influence him.
You can argue semantics all day but the man is working as a lobbyist with the Romney campaign and getting paid to do it.

As for the other things Romney has lied about, I’m sure you can google a dozen of them, though not as many as Giuliani I’ll give you that. But even still they were all just typical things that all the candidates are doing except Ron Paul and it’s pointless to argue them all here.

For a truly open minded informed person there is just no way around it, Ron Paul is the only truthful honest candidate.

I cannot believe how we see the same thing and yet have different views. Mitt said Beth Meyers runs his campaign, not the lobbyists. Isn’t that clear enough? If I’m the manager of a store and you’re the cashier, who runs the store?

wow, did he call one of his advisors a “potted plant”. damn.

that’s a wonderful selection of ball point pens behind Romney.

savea I’m not saying that a lobbyist is his campaign leader, obviously not because his campaign leader is Beth Meyers. However, if you honestly think that Romney does not have lobbyists working on his campaign then you are extremely naive.
