Agreed, but I also like the fact that hes a "lousy candidate" We have come to expect presidential candidates to be all spit and polish day and night, and never say anything of any real substance, and just make broad generalizations about how they are going to change Washington. Dr. Paul talks about real, specific issues, and the constitutional way to solve them. Your right, he would be our greatest president ever.

It's a shame he's not also tall, handsome and smooth of speech. He may be a lousy candidate, but he'd be perhaps our greatest president...ever.

In hindsight it's easy to tell how RIGHT he was before the NEO-CONS conned everyone with their 'mushroom cloud' rhetoric.

Too bad those same neo-cons aren't smart enough to realize when they have a true winner in their midst.

GO Ron Paul!!! Godspeed!!

--------------------------------------------------------------
Democracy and freedom for the people in Iraq is not worth sacrificing the lives of any of my family members in the military.
They enlisted to defend America, not to die promoting our philosophy on the other side of the world.
The 35 million people in Iraq would be better suited to determine their own destiny.
--------------------------------------------------------------
That was about the THIRD 'reason' proposed by the idiot proponents of this war as they struggled to 'justify' this senseless 'war for oil'.

I'm all for protecting "US" and securing oil for "OUR" future. I just believe we should be honest about and quit PRETENDING to be the 'good guys'.

We would be MUCH better off if we spent this BILLION a week on alternative energy research & development.

Bush is an IDIOT. Again, in hindsight it's easy to see that's a true statement. Oh, what happened to all those 'really smart people' Bush's supporters ASSURED me he would 'surround himself' with?

Looks as if he 'surrounded' himself with people JUST LIKE HIMSELF. What a pack of crap brains.

NEXT time people, vote for the guy that DOES NOT look like somebody you could go have a beer or 12 with.
HALF of you out there are hypocrite morons, just like your lovely crap brain presidunce.

And I guess Paul never would have thought that democracy and freedom would be brought to over 35 million people in Iraq. But then again, Paul's philosophy is closer to big government populism which cares little for liberty, particularly for those overseas. After all, this is the guy who said Hugo Chavez wasn't a problem, told Cuban Americans that Castro wasn't that bad, and even said in one debate that the "Vietnamese were now our friends." Should we be surprised at all, that Paul was a patsy for an evil dictator like Saddam Hussein?
