So apparently a few months ago, in March to be exact, the state of Oklahoma essentially wrote a memorandum to the federal government declaring their state’s sovereign rights as protected by the 10th Amendment. This might not sound like much of a big deal, because everybody thinks, sure all states have sovereign rights, why do they have to declare theirs?

Well sure, all states have certain sovereign rights as laid out by the constitution, unfortunately as we all know the federal government these days cares very little about what they are allowed to do. I am definitely not one to write grand legal prose so I will just copy the Oklahoma Joint House Resolution 1089. It is short and very inspiring so please read it carefully.
