Quote of the Day:Teddy Roosevelt on Immigration

Posted by rebtl On June - 28 - 2008 2 COMMENTS

rosvlt_p“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag.. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

Quote of the Day: Emerson on Government

Hence, the less government we have, the better, — the fewer laws, and the less confided power. The antidote Emersonto this abuse of formal Government, is, the influence of private character, the growth of the Individual; the appearance of the principal to supersede the proxy; the appearance of the wise man, of whom the existing government, is, it must be owned, but a shabby imitation. That which all things tend to educe, which freedom, cultivation, intercourse, revolutions, go to form and deliver, is character; that is the end of nature, to reach unto this coronation of her king. To educate the wise man, the State exists; and with the appearance of the wise man, the State expires. The appearance of character makes the State unnecessary.

Rule by Fear or by Law?

How this managed to actually get published in the San Fransisco Chronicle I will never know. It is a ray of hope in the otherwise brutally oppressed and controlled “free press” in our country.

nsa_1984.gifThis is the best article I have come across to date that describes the many laws, both new and old, the American Police State is manipulating to gain utter control over the American People. If this article does not scare you to your very core then please WAKE UP!!!!!! and read it again and really think about what it is saying. What powers are now allowed the Executive Government. Don’t think about it in the abstract. Think about it in relation to You, your family, your friends. Read the rest of this entry »

Quote of the Day: Churchill on Executive Power

churchill.jpg“The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law, and particularly to deny him the judgment of his peers, is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist.”

The Angry White Man

Posted by rebtl On February - 20 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

I wrestled with the decision to post this story on my blog because of the “pigeon hole” I know some people will be putting me into after they read this. But then I decided I didn’t care. This is a long way from the most provocative or controversial thing on my blog. I couldn’t agree more with almost everything in this article.

In election 2008, don’t forget Angry White Man

By Gary Hubbell
February 9, 2008

There is a great amount of interest in this year’s presidential elections, as everybody seems to recognize that our next president has to be a lot better than George Bush. The Democrats are riding high with two groundbreaking candidates — a woman and an African-American — while the conservative Republicans are in a quandary about their party’s nod to a quasi-liberal maverick, John McCain.

Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to children of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians.

There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man. Read the rest of this entry »

barrygoldwater.jpg“I believe the Council on Foreign Relations and its ancillary elitist groups are indifferent to communism. They have no ideological anchors. In their pursuit of a New World Order [World Government] they are prepared to deal without prejudice with a communist state, a socialist state, a democratic state, monarchy, oligarchy — it’s all the same to them.

YouTube of the Day: History Channel Admits Anthrax Attacks were Inside Job

Posted by rebtl On February - 18 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

Today’s YouTube of the day comes straight from the History Channel, on their show “Conspiracies” The show occasionally puts out an episode that is fairly accurate as far as I can see. I don’t know too much about the anthrax scare, or the conspiracy behind it, but if they are willing to go as far as admitting the virus had to come from the US’s own bio-warfare department then something is definitely going on. What really gets me is they put this on TV, and it’s not even a big deal.

Picture this headline perhaps a week or so after the anthrax scare was reported:
